ON the path of pilgrims
“A pilgrimage is a journey or search of moral or spiritual significance. Typically, it is a journey to a location of importance to a person's beliefs, although sometimes it can also be a metaphorical journey of faith.”
Many religions attach spiritual importance to particular places; it can be a place where a miracle was preformed, a place of birth or death of a saint or a place where other unique things happened. A person who makes such a journey is called a pilgrim.
On this track we will follow the path of pilgrims. We will meet people that are hungry for truth, and are searching for God. We will take part in their spiritual journey – and walk with them. So be ready for a simple lifestyle, and keep your backpack light. Because on this track you need to be ready to both walk or stay – depending on the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
Along the way as we follow the path of the pilgrims we will cry with them when they need a shoulder to cry on, and laugh with them when life gives them a reason to laugh, but in every opportunity we will love them. In all our different walks of life we want to exemplify with ours that there is just one way that leads to God, and that way is a person.
Because in John 14: 6 Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
